Assessor

Overview

The programme aims at equipping subject matter experts in a variety of different fields to effectively and efficiently assess learners in their field of expertise against national unit standards in order to award credits on the NQF for competence. The course will enable all delegates who complete the portfolio of evidence successfully to register as a constituent assessor with their SETA.

Who should Attend

Any individual who is a subject matter expert in their own filed of expertise and wishes to assess people in this area against standards for competence.

Application based Portfolio of Evidence

The portfolio of evidence will include the completion of two actual assessments that complies with all assessment principles and practises. An implementation report that accompanies the two assessment portfolios will serve as evidence of the delegate’s foundational, practical and reflexive competence.
